On 18 October 2026, we hosted a reception in Baghdad to mark the 70th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. Members of the diplomatic corps, Hungarian guests and representatives of the Iraqi diplomatic community gathered to commemorate this defining moment in Hungary’s history.
